Udupi, Aug 20: A private express bus caught fire in the middle of its journey at Uppoor on NH 66 on Thursday morning, August 20.

The bus was travelling from Udupi towards Sagara in Shivamogga district on its regular trip when the incident occurred.

A short circuit is suspected to have caused the fire.
