Colvale, Aug 20: Colvale Police arrested a 27-year-old man after allegedly seizing 1.580 kg of suspected ganja, valued at around Rs 1.60 lakh, during a narcotics raid near Dattatray Temple at Housing Board, Colvale.

The arrested person has been identified as Saish Sawant.

The raid was conducted as part of police efforts to curb the illegal possession and trafficking of narcotic substances in the area.

Police seized the suspected ganja during the operation and arrested Sawant. Further investigation is underway.
