MCC Bank honoured with prestigious SCDCC Bank award 2025–26 for outstanding performance

Mangaluru, Aug 24: Adding another feather to its cap, MCC Bank Ltd has been honoured with a prestigious award by SCDCC Bank in the urban co-operative bank sector for all-round progress in business turnover during the year 2025–26.

The award has been conferred in recognition of the bank's all-round progress in business turnover during the financial year 2025–26, its remarkable growth, consistent financial performance, operational excellence, and dedicated customer service.

The award ceremony was held on August 22 during the annual general meeting (AGM) of the South Canara District Central Co-operative Bank (SCDCC Bank), in the presence of eminent leaders of the co-operative movement.

The prestigious award was presented by Dr M N Rajendra Kumar, president of SCDCC Bank.

On behalf of MCC Bank, the award was received by the vice chairman and general manager along with the directors and deputy general manager of the bank.

This achievement reflects the visionary leadership of chairman 'Sahakara Ratna' Anil Lobo, the guidance and support of the board of directors, the dedicated efforts of the staff, and the immense trust and confidence reposed by thousands of loyal customers and shareholders over the years.

Speaking on the occasion, the representatives of MCC Bank expressed their sincere gratitude to SCDCC Bank for conferring this honour and dedicated the award to the entire MCC Bank family — customers, shareholders, staff and well-wishers.

MCC Bank, one of the leading urban co-operative banks, continues to march ahead with a strong focus on sustainable growth, transparency, technology-driven banking services and social commitment. The bank has its area of operation spread across the entire state of Karnataka and serves its customers through a wide network of 23 branches. The bank achieved a total business turnover of Rs 1,525 crore during the financial year 2025–26, registering a 22.89% growth over the previous year. As of the end of the financial year, the bank recorded Rs 872.88 crore in deposits and Rs 652.06 crore in advances (loans).

The bank has continued its strong growth momentum, and its total business turnover has now surpassed Rs 1,600 crore, reflecting its sustained financial strength and expanding customer confidence.

It was indeed a proud and memorable moment for the entire MCC Bank family, marking yet another significant milestone in the bank’s journey of growth and excellence.
