Mangaluru, Aug 26: Balipaada, the new novel by renowned author Sreedhara Balagara, has gained acclaim as a unique work portraying the life, philosophy, and socio-cultural shifts of the Kunbi community in Uttara Kannada district.
Eminent thinker Laxmeesha Tolpadi will present his philosophical reflections on the novel before literature enthusiasts on Friday, August 28, at 4 pm at the Sannidhya Hall, St Aloysius (Deemed to be University), Mangaluru.
The novelist Sreedhara Balagara will be present to share his thoughts on the background and creation of the work. Acclaimed storyteller Sachidananda Hegde, poet Nagaraj Apgal, and writer Kiranshyama (member of Ruthumana Publications) are traveling from Uttara Kannada district to participate in the literary discussions.

This special event is organized by the department of Kannada, St Aloysius (Deemed to be University), in collaboration with Geleyara Balaga, Mangaluru.
