Udupi, Aug 31: To add to the joy and festive spirit of Sri Krishna Janmashtami, Kishoo Enterprises and Daijiworld Udupi, from the land of Sri Krishna, have announced the ‘Muddu Krishna’ photo contest for little Krishnas.
Sri Krishna Janmashtami, which celebrates the birth of Lord Krishna, is a festival especially cherished by children and parents. On the occasion, parents lovingly dress their little ones as Krishna and celebrate the festival with great enthusiasm.


Kishoo Enterprises and Daijiworld Udupi have been organizing photo contests on various festive occasions for several years. Sri Krishna Janmashtami remains one of the most eagerly awaited among these celebrations. Every year, hundreds of participants from different parts of the region take part in the contests, with the best entries winning exciting prizes.
The photo contests organized by Daijiworld Udupi are known for their quality judging process and impartial results, making them popular among participants.
Over the years, Daijiworld Udupi has also organized contests such as ‘Yashonandalala’, featuring mothers and children, and ‘Radha Krishna’, for older participants. The latest ‘Muddu Krishna’ contest aims to provide another opportunity for parents to capture and showcase the adorable Krishna moments of their little ones while celebrating the spirit of Janmashtami.
Muddu Krishna photo contest 2026
The child must be between 1 and 4 years of age. The Krishna flute (Bansuri) is the theme of the competition and must feature in the photographs. Participants are required to submit three different photographs of the child in three different poses, with the flute. The First, Second and Third Prize winners, along with five consolation prize winners, will receive cash prizes, trophies and certificates. All participants will receive an online participation certificate.
Rules and regulations:
1. Edited or watermarked photographs will not be accepted.
2. Photographs must be recent, unedited, natural, and of good quality.
3. Photographs must be submitted in JPEG format with a resolution of 1920 × 1080.
4. The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in creating or modifying the photographs is strictly prohibited.
5. A copy of the child’s Birth Certificate or Aadhaar Card must be compulsorily attached.
6. Each application must include the participant’s name, parents’ names, complete postal address, and contact number.
7. By participating in the contest, participants confirm that they hold the rights to all photographs submitted.
8. Photographs containing defamatory, obscene, or inappropriate content will be rejected.
9. The decision of the judges will be final and binding.
10. The First, Second and Third Prize winners, along with five consolation prize winners, will receive cash prizes, trophies and certificates.
11. All participants will receive an online participation certificate.
12. Photographs received after the deadline will not be considered for the contest.
13. Last date for registration: September 7, 2026.
