Mangaluru, Sep 2: Traffic movement has been disrupted near Karmbar, Bajpe, following the cutting of a small old bridge near Rego Petrol Pump on September 2.

The bridge, which was reportedly in a dilapidated condition and had been identified for repairs, was cut on Wednesday as repair work had not been carried out earlier.

Commuters travelling from the Kateel side towards Mangaluru International Airport and those heading from Mangaluru towards Bajpe city are advised to take alternative routes.

Motorists can consider travelling via Porkodi Dwara to avoid the affected stretch and possible traffic congestion.

Commuters are urged to exercise caution and plan their routes accordingly.
