Mangaluru, Sep 3: Lourdes Central School's Pre-KG section organized a joyous celebration of Shri Krishna Janmashtami on September 1st. The event, themed 'Natkhat Bal Gopal and Graceful Radha', showcased the talents and of the little ones.

The programme began with a prayer song led by the KG2 students, creating a peaceful and prayerful atmosphere. This was followed by a graceful dance performance by the KG2 children, bringing the spirit of Janmashtami.

Our school principal Fr Johnson L Sequeira inaugurated the event by pulling the ribbon and showering the flowers, symbolizing the birth of Lord Krishna, and addressed the gathering with his inspiring message to our little lourdites. And a special giveaway was given to the children.

A warm welcome was also extended to the academic coordinator, teachers, parents, and all the students who contributed to making the day special.

The 16 participants brought their wonderful zeal and enthusiasm to the stage, making the occasion truly special. Among them, three were delightful duet performances, where mothers joined their little ones on stage and danced together, creating beautiful moments of bonding, joy and togetherness.

The highlight of the celebration was the lively handi breaking activity, which filled the hall with excitement and laughter as the children tried their best to break the handi. The joyful event concluded by leaving all the children happy and full of fun.

The entire celebration reflected the values and joyous spirit associated with Shri Krishna Janmashtami, creating beautiful memories for the young participants.
