Mangaluru, Sep 3: Faculty members of the Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University, showcased their creativity, talent, and team spirit at 'Guruvandana 2026' teacher talent competition, organized by Rotary Seaside, Mangaluru, on August 30 at the SDM Law College Auditorium, Mangaluru. The event brought together teachers from various schools and colleges, providing a vibrant platform for educators to demonstrate their talents beyond the classroom.
The faculty members of the Institute of Aviation Studies participated enthusiastically in a wide range of competitions, including collage making, AD mad quiz, eastern singing Solo, classical dance solo, folk song group, folk dance group, filmy dance group, and patriotic group singing. Their performances reflected creativity, coordination, confidence, and dedication, while also highlighting the diverse talents of the faculty members.










The Institute of Aviation Studies achieved remarkable success by securing the 1st prize in the folk-dance group and the 2nd prize in the filmy dance group. Adding to these accomplishments, the Institute proudly emerged as the overall runner-up of Guruvandana 2026 among the participating schools and colleges. The achievement reflects the dedication, coordination, and remarkable talents of the faculty members.
The success of the team was strengthened by the guidance and encouragement of the dean, Dr Pavithra Kumari, Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University, the student welfare officer, heads of departments, and cultural coordinators, along with the wholehearted support and cooperation extended by the faculty and staff members. Guruvandana 2026 thus became a memorable occasion for the Institute, celebrating not only the professional excellence of its faculty members but also their creativity, cultural spirit, and strong sense of teamwork.
