Mumbai, Sep 6: ‘Hanuman Ansh’ continues its impressive run at the box office, with strong word-of-mouth keeping audiences coming to theatres even in its fourth week.

Directed and written by Vishal Chaturvedi and starring Shobhinaww Satyaa, the film, based on the life and teachings of Neem Karoli Baba, picked up momentum after a slow opening and has now recorded a significant jump in collections on its 30th day.

According to Sacnilk, ‘Hanuman Ansh’ recorded a 62.5 per cent increase in its net collection on Day 30 compared to the previous day. The film earned Rs 16.25 crore net across India from 6,055 shows on its fifth Saturday.

With the latest earnings, the film's total India gross collection has reached Rs 117.27 crore, while its India net collection stands at Rs 99.13 crore.

The film had a modest beginning at the box office, collecting around Rs 40 lakh in its opening week. Its collections subsequently gained momentum, with the second week adding Rs 10.40 crore and the third week witnessing a sharp rise.

According to the available day- and week-wise figures, the film's India net collection stood at Rs 1.08 crore in Week 1, Rs 0.40 crore in Week 2 and Rs 10.40 crore in Week 3. The fourth week contributed around Rs 61 crore, while Day 29 added Rs 10 crore and Day 30 contributed Rs 16.25 crore, taking the overall India net collection to Rs 99.13 crore.

The film's sustained performance is being attributed largely to positive word-of-mouth, particularly as it continues to draw audiences despite facing competition from several releases.

‘Hanuman Ansh’, written and directed by Vishal Chaturvedi, draws inspiration from the life and teachings of Neem Karoli Baba, popularly revered by devotees as Maharaj Ji.

The film follows a grieving boy who seeks God in the hope of meeting his departed mother. His spiritual journey eventually leads him towards serving humanity through acts of love, food and silent blessings, transforming him into what the film describes as Hanuman Ansh, Neem Karoli Baba.

Made on a reported budget of around Rs 1.75 crore to Rs 2 crore, the film was released in theatres on Aug 7, 2026.

At the time of its release, ‘Hanuman Ansh’ competed with ‘Ohh My Dog’ and ‘Aryabhatta Ka Zero’. It later faced competition from ‘Awarapan 2’ and ‘Batwara 1947’.

Despite its limited budget and modest opening, the film has continued to strengthen its position at the box office and is now competing with major releases including Yash-starrer ‘Toxic’ and the newly released ‘Mirzapur: The Movie’.

With its India net collection nearing the Rs 100-crore mark, ‘Hanuman Ansh’ has emerged as a notable low-budget success, with its theatrical run showing no immediate signs of slowing down.
