Mangaluru, Sep 9: The Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University, organised the tug of war tournament on September 8 at the aviation campus. The tournament witnessed enthusiastic participation and strong team spirit, with a total of 23 teams, comprising 11 boys’ teams and 12 girls’ teams from BBA Aviation Management, BBA Aviation & Logistics Management.

The tournament created a spirited and vibrant atmosphere, highlighting teamwork, strength, coordination, and competitive spirit among the students. In the men’s category, second BBA Aviation & Logistics Management B Batch students emerged as the winners, while first year BBA Aviation & Logistics Management A Batch students secured the runners-up position. In the women’s category, second year BBA Aviation & Logistics Management A Batch students emerged as the winners, while third year BBA Aviation Management students secured the runners-up position.

The tournament was conducted under the esteemed guidance and support of Dr Pavithra Kumari, dean, Institute of Aviation Studies, SWO, HoDs, sports coordinators, and physical education directors of Srinivas University, faculty members, student volunteers, and staff of the Institute of Aviation Studies.

The tug of war tournament 2026 was a grand success, providing students with memorable moments of thrill, teamwork, competition, and sportsmanship. The event reflected the commitment of Srinivas University to promoting holistic student development through sports and co-curricular activities.
