Fire Breaks Out in Mumbai Warehouse


Mumbai, Mar 30 (IANS): A massive fire broke out in a scrap warehouse in northeast Mumbai's Mankhurd area early Friday but there was no human casualties in the incident.

Eight fire tenders rushed to the spot to battle the blaze, which broke out at 4.50 a.m., disaster control officials said. The fire has been brought under control, but the cause of the blaze was not immediately known.

    I think this fire is suspicious as the market value is very high in the real estate. Somebody can make a a big complex in that area and give the warehouse owner a small amount and the builder will make a fortune. This is what is happening in this kind of business. fire is just an excuse and most of this incidents happen at night as no one is there at that time. It is a deal between the warehouse owner nad the builder/real estate agent.
