Mangaluru, Sep 21: Mount Carmel Central School, Mangaluru, brought the Season of Creation theme “Living Waters” to life through a vibrant and meaningful exhibition presented by its nursery and kindergarten children.

The exhibition creatively traced the journey of water from mountains and waterfalls to rivers, lakes, seas and oceans, while highlighting its importance for people, animals, birds, plants and agriculture. Through colourful models and child-friendly presentations, the little ones showcased the everyday uses of water, as well as its role in cooking, gardening, farming, transportation, aquatic life and industries.

A special highlight was the demonstration of hydroelectricity, where the children explained how flowing and falling water can generate electricity. They also presented how water is used in different stages of industrial production.

The exhibition offered the young learners an opportunity to understand where water comes from, how it reaches our homes and how much we depend on it every day. Most importantly, they learnt the value of conserving this precious resource.

The exhibition was also open for the parents of kindergarten children, many of whom took the opportunity to visit. They were delighted and amazed by the creative presentations and the various creative methods in which the theme 'Living Waters' was showcased. It was heart-warming to witness the little ones explain it to their parents themselves.

The exhibition was not just a display of models and activities, but a rich and joyful learning experience. The children learnt, explored, created and confidently shared their knowledge with others. Today's exhibition truly reminded us that water is one of the most precious gifts of creation and that every drop matters.

The exhibition was also opened to the parents of the kindergarten children, many of whom took the opportunity to visit. They were delighted and amazed by the creative presentations and the wide range of concepts explored by the little ones. It was especially heart-warming to watch the children confidently explain their models and ideas to their parents.

More than an exhibition of models and activities, “Living Waters” was a joyful and enriching learning experience. The children learnt, explored, created and shared, transforming a meaningful theme into an experience they could see, understand and proudly present.
