Gaza, Oct 13: Gaza's Civil Defence agency has warned of a worsening humanitarian crisis as repeated forced displacement, explosions and gunfire by Israeli forces continue to threaten Palestinians living near the so-called ‘Yellow Line’, a demarcation boundary established under the October 2025 ceasefire arrangement.
In a statement, the agency expressed deep concern over the increasing displacement of Palestinians in the vicinity of the boundary, saying intensified military activity had damaged hundreds of tents sheltering displaced families and further weakened homes that had previously been targeted.
The agency said the continuing Israeli military operations had compounded the suffering of thousands of displaced people, forcing them to seek alternative shelters while exposing them to the danger of buildings collapsing because of structural cracks.

It warned that repeated explosions and what it described as indiscriminate gunfire were worsening living conditions for Palestinians already struggling with displacement and a lack of adequate shelter.
The ‘Yellow Line’ has become a significant demarcation in Gaza under the ceasefire arrangement, with Israeli forces maintaining control over areas beyond the boundary. According to reports, Israel has expanded its military control and access restrictions across an increasingly large portion of the territory, leaving Palestinians confined to a shrinking area.
The Civil Defence agency called for urgent international intervention to stop the attacks on civilians and prevent further displacement and destruction.
The latest warning highlights the continuing humanitarian challenges facing Gaza's population, particularly displaced families whose shelters and homes remain vulnerable to military activity and structural damage.
