Belagavi, Oct 24: Chikkodi MP Priyanka Jarkiholi, daughter of Karnataka Public Works Department Minister Satish Jarkiholi, has got engaged to Gautam Patil in a private ceremony held at her family residence in Belagavi on Thursday, October 23.

The engagement ceremony took place at ‘Hill Garden’, the Jarkiholi family's residence on Club Road in Belagavi, in the presence of close family members and relatives. The couple exchanged rings during the traditional ceremony.

Gautam Patil, who hails from Devadurga in Raichur district, is a chartered accountant. His father is a retired Regional Transport Office (RTO) official. The family has not disclosed further details about the prospective groom.

The engagement also brought together members of the Jarkiholi family, including MLA Balachandra Jarkiholi, MLC Lakhan Jarkiholi, MLA Ramesh Jarkiholi and Priyanka's brother Rahul Jarkiholi. Family members congratulated the couple and extended their best wishes.

Priyanka entered Parliament after winning the 2024 Lok Sabha election from the Chikkodi constituency as a Congress candidate. She is among the younger members of the Lok Sabha and represents the constituency in the Lower House of Parliament.

The wedding date and further details of the celebrations are yet to be announced by the family.
