Mumbai, Oct 25: India’s Karan Singh continued his impressive run on the ITF circuit, clinching the singles title at the USD 30,000 ITF Men’s World Tennis Tour M25 tournament at the Maharashtra State Lawn Tennis Association in Cooperage on Sunday.
The third-seeded Karan defeated academy teammate Digvijay Pratap Singh in the final after Digvijay was forced to retire with Karan leading 7-5, 3-1 in the second set.
The victory marked Karan’s fourth title of the 2026 season. The 23-year-old has been in outstanding form over the past couple of months, with the Mumbai triumph representing his second title and fourth final appearance during the last two months.

Playing on the outdoor hard courts, both players fought a closely contested opening set that lasted just over an hour before Karan secured the breakthrough to take it 7-5.
Karan carried the momentum into the second set, establishing a 3-1 lead before Digvijay was forced to retire after one hour and 32 minutes of play, handing the championship to his opponent.
Karan completed his campaign in Mumbai without dropping a single set. He began with a composed 6-4, 6-4 victory over Nitin Kumar Sinha in the round of 32.
In the round of 16, he overcame qualifier Adil Kalyanpur 7-5, 6-3 in one hour and 38 minutes, holding 10 of his 11 service games in an impressive serving performance.
His quarterfinal encounter against seventh seed Sidharth Rawat ended prematurely, with Karan advancing after Rawat retired while trailing 3-4.
In the semifinals, Karan produced a commanding performance against Chirag Duhan, winning 6-3, 6-2 in just one hour and 19 minutes to secure his place in the final. He maintained a 100 per cent service-hold record, winning all nine of his service games and 71.4 per cent of the points played on his serve.
Digvijay, meanwhile, also enjoyed an impressive run in Mumbai after winning the ITF M15 title in Baku earlier this month. He reached the final by defeating second seed Garrett Johns 6-4, 6-2 in the semifinals.
The result ensured a one-two finish for Roundglass Tennis Academy, with both Karan and Digvijay occupying the top two positions in the tournament.
