Mumbai: Annual Religious Celebration Held at Jagadamba Kalabairav Temple

Mumbai, Apr 16: The annual religious celebration and offering of the idol was held at Jagadamba Kalabairav temple, Gumpha Tekady, Krishna Nagar, Caves Road, Jogeshwari (East), on Saturday April 14.

The temple’s chief priest Kallaje Radhakrishna Bhat and other priests performed various religious celebrations on the occasion.  Free food was also offered to the devotees on the occasion.

Jagadamba Kalabairav temple managing trustee G T Acharya presided over the religious meet held on Saturday evening.

Social activists and entrepreneurs Vinayak and Shobha Kulkarni inaugurated the religious meet.

The local MLA and Shiv Sena leader Ravindra D Waikar was the chief guest.

Social activist and entrepreneurs N K Billava and Ravi T Naik, local renowned medical practitioner Dr Ramesh Chavan, and Congress youth leader Rajesh Hegde were the guests of honour on the occasion.

Temple Trust secretary Sanjeev P Poojary, treasurer D T Kundar, members Muddu C Suvarna, H Babu Poojary, Sundar C Poojary, Shankar D Poojary and Govind A Shetty, executive committee president Padubidri Suresh B Kotian, secretary Sadanand G Amin, vice-president Ashok Acharya, Latesh Shetty, Chandrahas, NCP leader Laxman Poojary, social activists Chitrapu K M Kotian, Shankar D Poojary, Ganesh Kumar, Ramanat Sarang, Jayakar D Poojary, and Ravi Suvarna were present along with thousands of devotees.
