Lavigne Cooks to Forget Career Pressures

London, Apr 16 (IANS): Singer Avril Lavigne has revealed that she likes to spend time in kitchen to forget the pressures of her music career.

Lavigne said she loves to prepare food for other people and channel her creativity into painting.

"I love to paint huge abstract canvases and hang them up in my house. 'I don't watch much TV but I love to cook. I cook as much as I can," contactmusic.com quoted her as saying.

"When I'm home I cook all the time and when I'm on tour I cook for my band on the bus. It makes me happy," she said.
