Mangalore: Unidentified Body Found on Beach, Police Suspect Suicide

Mangalore, Apr 18: The body of a man was found at Someshwar beach here on Wednesday April 18.

The identity of the dead man has not yet been ascertained.

A person identified as Hameed who was walking on beach spotted the body in the water and informed the police. He also pulled the body out of the water.

The man is said to be around 40-45 years old. Except for a gold chain, nothing was found on the body.

Ullal police arrived at the spot and conducted preliminary investigation. They suspect that it may be a case of suicide.

The death may have taken place on the same day, as there were no signs decomposition.

Ullal police are investigating.

    Its very sad that the persons are not provided with gloves nor face mask. to handle a dead body.When will these people learn hygein?
