Mumbai: Kala Jagattu ® Celebrates 33rd Annual Day at Bunts Bhavan Auditorium

Mumbai, Apr 23: Kala Jagattu ® celebrated its 33rd annual day at Bunts Bhavan auditorium, Kurla (East), on Saturday April 21.

Pejavar Mutt metro branch manager Vidwan Puttige Srihari Bhat inaugurated the event on Saturday afternoon.

Kala Jagattu ® Tonse Vijay Kumar Shetty presided over the programme. Sucharita R Hegde, editor, ‘One India One People’ English monthly, was the chief guest on the occasion.

Vineet Chemicals Limited managing director B Vivek Shetty, social activist Suguna Kamat Dahisar, entrepreneur chartered accountant N B Shetty, Ultoor Mohandas Shetty Mulund, Appanna Shetty Powai, and Bunts Sangh women’s wing president Lata P Shetty were the guests of honour.

Thirty-third Kala Jagattu Puruskar was conferred on Shekar R Shetty, chairman, Yaksha Manasa Mumbai, during the programme.  Vidushi Amita Jain Mira Road was felicitated on the same occasion.

‘Amma Chavadid Appe Site’, Tulu play directed by Tonse Vijay Kumar Shetty, was staged by the artistes of Kala Jagattu as part of the cultural programme.

Kala Jagattu vice-president Surendra Kumar Hegde, honorary chief secretary Chandravati Vasant, honorary treasurer Raghuveer Bhat, and Vinodini S Hegde were present on the dais. Dayasagar Chowta compered the programme.
