Mumbai: Sandhya Deshpande’s Marathi Book ‘Dishantar’ Released

Mumbai, Apr 23: Under the joint auspices of metro-based Karnataka Sangh, Bhodhi Natya Parishat Mumbai and Vijay Prakashan, Nagpur, Sandhya Deshpande’s Marathi book ‘Dishantar’, translated from Kannada, was released at Karnataka Sangh auditorium, Matunga (West), on Saturday April 21.

Karnataka Sangh president Dr G D Joshi presided over the book release function here on Saturday evening.

Premanand Gazvi was the chief guest on the occasion. D S Chowgule was the guest of honour.

Metro’s renowned Marathi dramatist Jayant Pawar released the book ‘Dishantari’ during the pogramme.

Karnataka Sangh vice-president Prakash G Burde welcomed the gathering. Youth dramatist S Sandhya introduced the author.  Dr Mamata T Rao introduced the guests.
 
G P Kusuma compered the programme.  Karnataka Sangh honorary chief secretary Dr Bharat Kumar Polipu proposed the vote of thanks.
