Mumbai: Last Rites of Lawyer Sanjeev S Kanchan Held

Mumbai, Apr 30: The last rites of 68-year-old lawyer Sanjeev S Kanchan, executive president, Mogaveer Chamber of Commerce and Industry, vice-president of Jayasrikrishna Parisara Premi Samiti–an NGO, former advisor of Maharashtra state BJP advisory committee, renowned social activist, and a veteran of Mogaveer community, was held at Dahanukarwadi crematorium, Kandivali (West), on Sunday April 29.  The mortal remains of Sanjeev S Kanchan were placed for public homage at his residence Kailas Tower, near M G Road, Kandivali (W), for an hour.

Kanchan hailed from Kallianpur in Udupi district and served as a Mumbai High Court lawyer.  He is survived by his wife Kamalakshi S Kanchan, sons Vineet S Kanchan settled in Australia, Venkatesh S Kanchan, daughters Joshna S Kanchan, and Roopa S Kanchan who were present at the last rites.



Mogaveer Vyavastapak Mandali Mumbai president Ajit G Suvarna, Mogaveer Mahajan Seva Sangh Bagwady Hobli Mumbai president Suresh R Kanchan, former president Gopal S Putran, Nanu Chandan, former union minster Ram Naik, Mogaveer Yuvak Sangh president Sadanand Kotian, Purushottam Sriyan, Borivali MLA Gopal C Shetty, chartered accountant M C Kanchan, and Purushottan Sriyan offered homage to Sanjeev Kanchan.

Jayasrikrishna Parisara Premi Samiti former presidents lawyer Kadandale Parari Prakash Shetty, Vishwanath U Mada, Dharmapal U Devadiga, Nityanand D Kotian and Balakrishna P Bhandary, BJP leaders L V Amin, Jayaprakash Takoor, Vittal Raj, Sudhir Shetty Powai, Bhaskar Sarapady, S K Sriyan, G T Acharya, Surendra Salian Mundkoor, Harry R Sequeira Ferrer, Vincent Castelino, Vijay D Poojary, Suendra Karkera, S K Salian, Simunje Parari, S K Sundar, Tulsidas Amin, B K Prakash, Shyam Sundar Shetty, and Ramesh Shivpur were present on the occasion.
