Sun, Jun 03 2012Jossy Saldanha, your comments are somewhat senile here. Govt. cannot do anything if the drivers drive crazily on the roads. the pvt. bus operators are trying to maximise profits here by making the maximum no.of to and fro trips. Its time that the govt. actually bans these pvt. operators

Sun, Jun 03 2012Bus drivers in Mangalore are the worst, the reason behind this are the public traveling in these buses, i have noticed them cheering the drivers, instead of holding them accountable, lynch couple of them on the nearest lamp post and the death due to buss accident will subside.

Sun, Jun 03 2012Rajashri, May your soul rest in eternal peace and give comfort to your beloved parents and family members. A young budding college student lost her precious life due to the rash and negligent driver. The other occupant was luckily to be alive. The driver of the bus should be jailed and his licence revoked forever.

Sat, Jun 02 2012Public memory is very short. we remember the incident for 2 days and then tend to forget it but the damage caused to the bereaved family is irrepairable. life can never be the same to them again. traffic rules in mangalore are little tough to follow. have money you can get away with how much ever severe accident. God help the travelling people on mangalore roads.

Sat, Jun 02 2012Some bus/lorry drivers are purposefully coming close to lady two wheeler drivers only to scare them and see the fun. This is my personal experience. Any marginal error also we are going to lose our life….

Sat, Jun 02 2012Life.....so fragile, Loss....so sudden, Heart....so broken,...in the wake of such a loss, we are haunted by things we dont, and may never understand. Yet the solace we seek may not come from answers. So we look for comfort in the belief of love's everlasting connection. May that love lift you and hold you close, and give you peace...

Sat, Jun 02 2012Very sad to hear this..No control over city bus timings & speed. It's totally RTO resposibility to have control over Bus permit & timings..At least BJP Govt. has to introduce some rules for controlling this.

Sat, Jun 02 2012The number of death caused by these driver's, by their rash driving is unaccountable. I think the RTO must rethink before issuing a license, anyway what has the RTO officials got to loose, the dead person is not a kith nor a kin of these officials. The loss and the pain will be borne by the family of the deceased. May God give the family the strength to bear the loss and grant peace to the soul. I would pray to god to enlighten these driver's not to speed on the road's so that innocent lives will be saved.
