Mumbai, Jun 24: Rajesh Khanna (69), bollywood’s first superstar was admitted to Lilavati Hospital on June 23 after a series of illnesses in the past couple of days. He had stopped any kind of food intake for the past couple of days. Earlier this year he complained of exhaustion and was admitted to the hospital.
He had married Dimple Kapadia, for around ten years after which they split up. Dimple Kapadia has although been seen being a guardian and helping him in this crucial time. His son-in law Akshay Kumar is also seen along with the family. Elder daughter, Twinkle is expecting her second baby. While younger daughter Rinkie and mother are taking care of the ill actor.
Reports state that Khanna is doing much better and he will be released in a couple of days. Dimple adds that he was only feeling a mild weakness and not to follow false reports .Several false reports have been floating around about Khannas liver or kidneys being affected but bollywood’s “KAKA” proved these rumors wrong by waving to his fans outside his residence in Mumbai.
Rajesh Khanna tried his hand for the first time with R Balkis latest advertisement which deals with Havell’s fans.
Reports state that he is recovering steadily and is expected to be released from the hospital in a few days time.
