Sangeet over; Esha Deol to wed Friday


Mumbai, June 26 (IBNS): Bollywood actor Esha Deol is all set to tie the nuptial knot with her fiance Bharat Takhtani on June 29.

The countdown to the wedding has already begun with celebrities from B-town attending Esha's sangeet ceremony on Monday night.

The pre-wedding function was held at Hotel Lalit Intercontinental in Mumbai.

The 'Dhoom' girl looked stunning as she wore a Rocky S orange and gold lehenga choli at the ceremony.

Her fiance Bharat, who is a businessman based in Bandra, on the other hand wore a blue velvet sherwani with gold zari work.

Esha's cousin Abhay Deol and his girlfriend Preeti Desai were present at the event.

Her father Dharmendra, mother Hema Malini and step-brothers Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol played perfect hosts, while celebs including Naseeruddin Shah, Raima Sen, Reema Sen, Genelia D`Souza along with her husband Ritesh Deshmukh, Ranveer Singh, Zayed Khan, Malaika Khan, Arya Babbar, Jackky Bhagnani, Alvira Khan and Sohail Khan were present to wish the couple.

 Esha and  Bharat got engaged on February 12.

The mehendi ceremony will take place on June 27 while the couple will  the nuptial knot on June 29.

According to reports, the couple will have a traditional temple wedding.

The reception will take place on June 30.

Esha was never really able to take her career to heights despite being the daughter of two of the finest actors in the industry. Her debut film ‘Koi Mere Dil Se Pooche’ was fairly successful. However, she gave quite a few flops thereafter.

She was last seen in ‘Tell Me O Kkhuda’, a flick produced and directed by her mother to re-launch her. But it too failed to garner support for her at the box office.
