Mumbai: Balakrishna Puttur Elected President of Bhandary Seva Samithi

Mumbai, Aug 17: Balakrishna Puttur has been unanimously elected as the new president of Bhandary Seva Samithi during the 59th annual general meeting held at Swami Nithyananda hall in Sayan (West) here on Sunday August 12.

The election was conducted during the meeting wherein the new office bearers were elected for the year 2012-15. Around 21 members for working committee were also elected.

Prabhakar Bhandary was elected secretary and Pandurang Bhandary as the treasurer.

Hailing from Puttur, Balakrishna was an bright student. He completed BE engineering from KREC Surathkal. He has served in various places like Uttar Kannada, Dhandeli, Panvel, Kenya, Pune and others. Later he opened his own company named Cabinet Systems & Controls Private Limited in Pune. Within few years the company earned world-wide respect mainly because of his efforts.

Balakrishna has given main importance to education. He has opened a trust in his dad’s name called Mahalinga Bhandary Seva Trust, through which he helps poor students and women for their wedding expenses.
