Love Scenes More Awkward for Colin: Beckinsale

Los Angeles, Aug 21 (IANS): Actress Kate Beckinsale says it was more awkward for Colin Farrell to shoot love scenes in front of her husband, director Len Wiseman, for "Total Recall".

"I've done it with somebody else in front of my husband before so I think it was actually much more awkward for Colin. He was the one who was like, 'Are we done? Are we good?'," thesun.co.uk quoted Beckinsale as saying.

The situation was all the more awkward as Farrell and Beckinsale had briefly dated each other earlier.

However, Beckinsale also acknowledges other problems that men face while filming love scenes.

"I think it's easier for a woman as we don't have any moveable parts. You can just sort of blank out and nobody can really tell what you're thinking. I think it's much harder for boys maybe - or not," she said.

The 39-year-old is glad her husband has no hassles in filming her with any other man, but admits she wouldn't be as understanding if her husband were in front of the camera.

"It's nice that Len is not very jealous and can be relaxed about me doing these scenes, but he would never be allowed to do that," she added.
