Priyanka Chopra to appear in soccer show

Mumbai, Aug 28 (IBNS) Bollywood actor Priyanka Chopra, who has now turned recording artist as well, will be the featured artist for Thursday Night Kickoff, the pregame show for NFL Network’sThursday Night Football.

Priyanka’s debut single “In My City,’ featuring will.i.am and produced by RedOne (Lady Gaga) and Brian Kennedy, will be the music bed for the intro to Thursday Night Kickoff.

 Earlier this week Priyanka shot the spot that will air every Thursday night before and afterThursday Night Football on NFL Network.

Thursday Night Kickoff begins September 13 with the 185th meeting between Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers – the most-played rivalry in NFL history.

"It's been an honor working with the NFL Network to create such a fantastic launch for my debut single,” said Priyanka. “I’m really thrilled to bring my music and a touch of India to America and its football fans."

“We’re excited to showcase Priyanka’s talent and worldwide appeal to millions of NFL fans across the United States,” said NFL Network Executive Producer Eric Weinberger.

“In My City will set the perfect tone for Thursday Night Kickoff which leads into each of the 13 primetime Thursday Night Football games on NFL Network,” said Weinberger.

The release of the full song and accompanying video for "In My City" are expected later this year.

Prior to each of the 13 primetime games telecast on NFL Network, Thursday Night Kickoff is a live, two-hour split edition pregame show aired in high definition with broadcast teams from each stadium site, as well as at NFL Network’s Los Angeles studios. 

Featuring Emmy-nominated Rich Eisen and Steve Mariucci, plus NFL Hall of Fame players Marshall Faulk, Michael Irvin and Deion Sanders, Thursday Night Kickoffbegins at 6:00 PM ET leading into NFL Network primetime game.

The National Football League (NFL) is the highest level of professional American football in the United States.

    This is the saddest thing i heard... i work for Universal and i tell you Priyanka Chopra cant sign at all, it all auto tuned and so fabricated.... they personally paid for her to have this songs.... NO body wanted to work with her because she cant sign, its a a fraud what a shame what music industry has come to, there all these amazing singers out there and they dont get the opportunity to even be heard but Priyanka Chopra who is known to be a terrible actress in India and a homewreck is giving the opportunity to do music in American and she has no clue how to sign... its sad that people would pay all the money in the world to give someone the opportunity they dont deserve.....
