Dubai, Sep 3 (Emirates 24/7): Bollywood stars' Dubai visit this weekend had it all...screams, kisses, photo-ops, promises, stampede and a few near-miss mishaps, too.
When hot babe Bipasha Basu and serial kisser Emraan Hasmi made their fleeting visit to Lamcy Plaza to promote their forthcoming flick 'Raaz 3', the euphoric crowd that had thronged the venue well in advance almost turned violent.
Young and old alike, including some mothers with babies in their arms and teenagers, pushed and screamed as they made their way up the stage to share the frame with their stars. In the ensuing melee, a pre-teen youngster stumbled over and was injured. This led to chaos despite the constant announcement made by the organisers to maintain decorum.
No one came to the teary-eyed little fan's rescue as they were busy blowing kisses, intrestingly more towards Emraan Hasmi.
Shifaani Shameer, with her six-month-old baby, cried out in excitement: "I managed to make my way up and see Emraan. I was standing outside. That's when I heard the screams and rushed inside."
Though Shameer cannot speak Hindi at all, nevertheless she is a Hindi-movie buff who is eagerly awaiting the release of the film. This sums up the craze for the hot pair!
Sophia, a student of Grade 11 at St. Mary's High School, Dubai, said she was at the mall for her cousin's birthday party and was thrilled to see Emraan and Bipasha.
The movie will hit the cinemas on September 6.
