I'm Privileged to Work in Bollywood: Madhurima

Mumbai, Sep 10 (IANS): Southern actress Madhurima, who is gearing up for the release of her second Bollywood film "Kamaal Dhamaal Malamaal", considers herself lucky to work in the "national" Hindi film industry.

"Both industries, Tollywood and Bollywood, are very different. But this (Bollywood) is national, so I am happy and consider myself privileged to have got this chance and exposure," the actress said here Sunday at a promotional event held for the film.

"We had a lot of dhamaal (fun) with a kamaal (amazing) script and hope it will be malamaal (money-minting)," added Madhurima, whose debut Bollywood film was the 2000 movie "Toss".

Meanwhile, lead actor of the film Shreyas Talpade vouches that the film bears Priyadarshan's trademark.

"It's a complete family entertainer. Like Priyan sir's previous films, this one also has his trademark style comedy - nice, clean family entertainer," the 31-year-old said here.

Shreyas further said that this Ganesh Chaturthi, he will pray to lord Ganesha for the film's success.

"Ganpati bappa comes to my home also. We all are very selfish and every year we ask Ganpati bappa to make our film a hit. This year also we will pray for the same because we are humans. I'll pray to Bappa that 'Kamaal Dhamaal Malamaal' becomes a hit," Shreyas said.

"Kamaal Dhamaal Malamaal", releasing Sep 28, also features Nana Patekar, Paresh Rawal, Om Puri, Rajpal Yadav, Shakti Kapoor and Asrani.
