Gallagher Plans Break from Music

Los Angeles, Sep 16 (IANS): Former Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher needs a break. He is planning to take a hiatus at the end of his winter tour to make sure his next album is not rushed.

He released his debut solo album "Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds" in 2011 and he has spent much of 2012 on tour. But now he wants some rest once he completes his North American dates in November, reports dailystar.co.uk.

Asked if he will be recording a new album next year, Gallagher told a radio station: "No, no, no. I'm taking a well earned break after this. Why mess with brilliance? I'd only f**k it up."
