Chennai, Sep 18 (IANS): In a career spanning over a decade, Telugu actor Sivaji feels he has always enjoyed doing roles for his fans, more than for anybody else.
"I will always do roles for my fans. If I'm a successful actor today then it's definitely because people to date have accepted whatever I've done. I will continue doing roles that will make my fans happy", Sivaji told IANS.
The actor, who started his career as a character artist, is also one of the notable dubbing artists in the industry. However, it's his stint as a comedian through which the actor's potential was identified by many filmmakers, who later offered him hero roles.
"I've always not played comedian-turned-hero type of roles. I've played few negative characters as well quite early on in my career, which were not accepted quite well by people. Therefore, I started getting roles with good scope for comedy and I did them happily".
"I'm open to do different kind of roles, provided my directors and producers offer me", he added.
Sivaji is looking forward to his new film "Em Babu Laddu Kavala', releasing Sep 21. He is paired opposite Aditi Agarwal and Rachana Maurya.
