Los Angeles, Sep 19 (IANS): Television personality Simon Cowell was reportedly jealous of singer Gary Barlow, when the latter received an Order of British Empire (OBE).
Barlow recieved the prestigious title for his contribution in Queen Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee celebrations, but according to author Tom Bower's biography of Simon, "Sweet Revenge", it did not go down well with Cowell, reports contactmusic.com.
"The announcement that Barlow would receive an OBE for arranging the (Diamond Jubilee concert) added to his irritation. He chased that madly to get three initials after his name," Bower wrote in the book.
