Mumbai, Sep 22 (IANS): Actor Tusshar Kapoor is confident that with Sanjay Gupta's direction, his next film "Shootout At Wadala" will perform well at the box office.
"I am not at all nervous because the script is good and Sanjay Gupta is a very experienced director. His hold on the medium of the film is very strong and 'Shootout At Wadala' is a brand, it's the first prequel and the public is enjoying action-packed entertaining films," the 35-year-old said here.
"I am sure 'Shootout At Wadala' will get a good reception. I hope it does very well at the box-office, but that only time will decide," he added.
Tusshar has been sporting a beard for his role in the film, and he hopes the viewers appreciate it.
"This (the beard) is for 'Shootout At Wadala'. It is a 1970s character and he is a gangster, so the look has to be rough. But I am enjoying it, people are liking the look and I hope they accept it on-screen as well," he said.
A Balaji production, "Shootout At Wadala", a prequel to 2007 film "Shootout At Lokhandwala", also features John Abraham, Anil Kapoor, Kangna Ranaut, Sonu Sood and Manor Bajpayee. It is slated to release May 2013.
