Los Angeles, Sep 23 (IANS): Actor Nick Cannon says that he wants his children to appreciate what they have and understand that every child is not as lucky as them.
Cannon, 31, has 17-month-old twins - Monroe and Moroccan, with singer wife Mariah Carey.
"I want my kids to understand that every child isn't as fortunate as they are," people.com quoted him as saying.
"I want (them) to grow up helping others. I was raised by my grandmother. We were low income, but she was always taking in foster kids. She would help anyone, and it was a good lesson for me growing up," he added.
