Los Angeles, Oct 3 (IANS): Actor Rupert Everett, who is open about his sexual orientation, says he once feared having AIDS and lived in the terror for six years.
"When AIDS came along and I spent six years in sheer terror... That was part of my landscape then, this terror that was always there," Gaurdian Weekend magazine quoted Everett as saying.
However, the 53-year-old says it was not until the treatment for the AIDS detection came that he could sigh a breath of relief.
"Nearly everyone I slept with was dying, you couldn't test until about 1986, and that was really the big period of my life," he added.
