Knowles Backs Out of 'A Star Is Born'

Los Angeles, Oct 11 (IANS): Singer-actress Beyonce Knowles has pulled out of filmmaker Clint Eastwood's upcoming movie "A Star Is Born" due to unavailability of dates.

"I was looking forward to the production of A Star Is Born and the opportunity to work with Clint Eastwood," Knowles said in a statement.

Knowles, 31, says she tried very hard to match the dates so that she could work with the filmmaker.

"For months we tried to coordinate our schedules to bring this remake to life but it was just not possible. Hopefully in the future we will get a chance to work together,"she said.
