Chennai, Nov 7 (IANS): Telugu director Muddapu Rambabu says Nandamuri Tarak Ratna's role in his upcoming mythological "Bhaktha Siriyala", will be considered a milestone in the actor's career.
"This role will definitely be very special in the actor's career. He plays the role of a pious Shiva devotee in the film. He embarks on a journey to find out what's more powerful than devotion," Rambabu told IANS.
Tarak, who's acted in several Telugu films in a career spanning a decade, hasn't had a single noteworthy hit to date.
The film, which features Tarak and Archana in lead roles, also stars Nagineedu, Narayana Rao, Ranganath, Prasanna Kumar and Bhavana in key roles.
Mangalagiri Purnachand has composed the music for the film, which is set to go on floors soon.
