London, Dec 18 (IANS): Singer Elton John surprised people in a pub with his visit as he had come to watch an upcoming band perform.

John, 65, visited band The Strypes' gig at the 100-capacity Fitzherberts pub. He arrived under tight security blanket and watched the band perform, reports NME.com.

This attracted a lot of people to the pub and surprised the ones who were already there, Dec 16.
