London, Dec 18 (IANS): Oscar-winning actress Cate Blanchett says it was love at first sight when she met screenwriter Andrew Upton whom she married later.
The 43-year-old actress, who has been married to Upton for 15 years, revealed that they got engaged within weeks of meeting each other as they knew they were a perfect couple.
"The most romantic moment in my life was meeting my husband. Love at first sight? Yes, it was.
"He proposed two weeks after we met. A straight, old-fashioned proposal," the sun.co.uk quoted Blanchett as saying.
