Los Angeles, Jan 2 (IANS): Singer Lady Gaga won't be smoking weed as she works on her next album "Artpop".

The 26-year-old singer announced the news via a chat with fans, and said she is trying very hard to stay off weed, reports thesun.co.uk.

"No weed on 'Artpop'. No," Gaga wrote.
