Mumbai, Jan 8 (IANS): RSS leader Shrikant Shankar Joshi passed away following a massive cardiac arrest here Tuesday, colleagues said. The 76-year-old bachelor is survived by three brothers and a sister.
Leaders of the Rashtiya Swayamsevak Sangh and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) visited the RSS office in Dadar where his body was kept and paid their last respects.
A former LIC agent and banker, Joshi gave up his job to join the RSS. He served its Nanded branch before being posted to Assam.
