Los Angeles, Jan 12 (IANS): Actress Evan Rachel Wood and husband Jamie Bell are expecting their first child.

"The couple is thrilled," a representative of Wood, told usmagazine.com.

The news comes as a surprise to fans as Wood denied rumours of impending motherhood after she was photographed tenderly touching her stomach in November last year.

"Sorry to disappoint. But no baby on the way here," she had then posted on twitter.
