London, Jan 22 (IANS): British singer Cheryl Cole has shot down reports suggesting boyfriend Tre Holloway is preparing to propose to her.
She has been dating her back-up dancer since last year and it was reported Sunday that Holloway had asked Cole's father for his blessing to marry her, reports contactmusic.com.
Cheryl took to Twitter to deny claims.
"Ok... That's enough silliness now from the media!! I am not, nor am I getting engaged or married! Stop it... It's pretty pathetic and very corny!" she tweeted.
Cheryl was previously married to soccer ace Ashley Cole, but the marriage ended in 2010.
