Peter Andre calls his children bookworms

London, Jan 22 (IANS): Singer Peter Andre's children are serious about their schoolwork and spend free time reading.

He has two children - Princess Tiaamii, 5, and seven-year-old Junior with ex-wife Katie Price.

"The kids have been with me all week and although I have been on tour, I have been keeping a close eye on their homework," contactmusic.com quoted Andre as saying.

"When I was a kid, I have to admit I got away with murder and probably didn't do as much as I should have, so I am not going to let that happen with Princess and Junior.

"Luckily, my son is a real little bookworm and goes from book to book. Princess is just starting to catch the reading bug too. I used to love reading to them, but nowadays they actually read to me, it's so cute!" he added.

Andre, 39, added that as a treat he took his kids to the cinema to see "Life Of Pi".

"It is about a young Indian boy, who is the only survivor of a shipwreck and it follows his adventure. It is a little deep in places, but the kids really enjoyed it.

"Of course, the most important part of any cinema experience is the snacks. I am a sweet and salty man. I love salted popcorn... Yes, I know, I am a big kid!" he said.
