Radcliffe listening to heavy metal to connect with inner evil

Los Angeles, Jan 23 (IANS): Actor Daniel Radcliffe is listening to heavy metal music to bring out his inner demon as he prepares for his role in the new film "Horns".

In the film, the 23-year-old star compels people to tell him their darkest secrets after he mysteriously grows a pair of horns like a devil overnight.

Radcliffe, who rose to fame with the "Harry Potter" franchise, says music is helping him connect with his inner evil.

"I'm listening to a lot of metal and allowing that slightly demonic rock 'n' roll spirit out," Radcliffe said.

"There's nothing else like it," he added.

Directed by Alexandre Aja, "Horns" is based on author Joe Hill's novel by the same name.
