Don't compare us with Kardashians: The Saturdays

Los Angeles, Jan 27 (IANS): British band The Saturdays don't want their reality show "Chasing The Saturdays" to be compared with socialite Kim Kardashian's "Keeping Up With The Kardashians".

The band, which consists of Una Healy, Rochelle Humes, Mollie King, Frankie Sandford and Vanessa White, would prefer being compared to successful bands, reports contactmusic.com.

"We aren't the new Kardashians - we're nothing like them. We love their show, but what do they do? We've performed professionally for years," Humes said.

"People used to call us 'the new Girls Aloud', and we have worked with them and they are lovely, but if we are the new anything then 'the new Spice Girls' gets us more excited," she added.

"Chasing The Saturdays" shows the journey of the band as they try to make it big in the US.
