At 60, Zeenat Aman To Marry Again

Mumbai, Feb 5 : At 60, Zeenat Aman, the sultry beauty who stole many a heart at her prime in the 1970s, is set to tie the knot again.
“Yes, I am planning to go that way again. I was dead against marriage after my children’s father (Mazhar Khan) passed away. The thought of it was dreadful. But our resolutions are nothing against God’s will,’’ the actress told Hindustan Times.

“I have met someone and he’s become a significant part of my life, but I don’t want to discuss it any further. He is from India, and we are planning to marry. I am in a much happier space today. I feel I am young again,’’ she said.

The heroine of such films as Hare Rama Hare Krishna, Satyam Shivam Sundram, and Insaaf Ka Tarazu said her two sons – Azaan (26) and Zahaan (23) -  are thrilled by her decision. “They told me, ‘go unwind, and be happy,’’’ Zeenat said.

The actress was in a relationship with actor Sanjay Khan after the death of Mazhar Khan in 1998, and later had Zaheer as her partner.

But she said her relationship with Zaheer was over four years ago.

wow...superb. Happy married life. Good that she had guts to go her own way rather than oblige to jealous society. Youth is priceless and money cannot buy it , so why not marry it!. Guy also seems lucky as she is celebrity after all. All i can do is sing a song 'o hansinni ' from ' zahreela insaan ' . By the way Salman and Alia Bhat will be fantastic real life pair rather than katrina . And its just my thought....

    Dear Simran-
    You called me a Crab-okay!
What do you mean 'is not happy
and doen't want others to be happy'? You do not seem to be knowing much about 'Crabs' for starters! Grow up child! You have to have a long walk on the sea shores looking at waves first to know about 'life'. Crabs can come later! One thing more Child- Crabs like me might let you go- but many 'sting'that might leave a scar forever.....Nice to know that you care very much for Zeenat....I do too....

Well said Sarita. Mr. Bhandarkar and men like that are like crabs, they are not happy and don't want others to be happy. I'm happy that she is getting married. Best wishes are with her and hope she gets all the love that she deserves. The only consent which is required is that of her sons, which thankfully she has.

Mr. R. Bhandarkar This is not about comfort quality. This is about companionship in old age. We do not know whether she has been used or no in the past but with age she has grown wiser and probably knows what is best for her. So instead of criticising, let us wish her a happy future. She has given us good entertainment with her movies and has been an eye candy for men like you so let the grapes not be sour.

    Dear Ozzy
    Kaalen Mind? Kaalen Heart?
She has been the 'victim' of the 'Heartless' all her life! That
is what I wanted all to know through my first comment! She was used -Never got true love and comfort then! What guarentee now?
I know Zeenat from close quarters! Those were the days when everybody used to down 'a quarter' thinking about her! All commentators here 'now' weren't born then!I have grown 'wiser' hope Zeenath would too! They used to call her 'Zeenie Baby' then for your information!
