Jessica Parker turns designer for charity

Los Angeles, Feb 6 (IANS): Actress Sarah Jessica Parker has designed a bag to raise funds for US foundation of AIDS amfAR.

The actress has designed a gold-dusted black snakeskin clutch, along with designer Kenneth Cole. The bag with a retail price of 625 pounds, will be auctioned at the Cipriani Wall Street in New York Feb 6, reports contactmusic.com.

"It has been an amazing experience to collaborate with Kenneth Cole on the design of a handbag supporting amfAr. Kenneth has used his platform as a fashion designer for nearly 30 years to advocate for amfAr's mission to end AIDS," Parker said.

"I am thrilled this bag will help raise money and awareness for the 30 million people living with HIV and AIDS," she added.
