Vivek Oberoi, wife blessed with son


Mumbai, Feb 6 (IANS): Actor Vivek Oberoi and wife Priyanka have become proud parents of a boy.

"Today is the most special day of my life! Priyanka and I welcomed our little angel into our world, a beautiful, healthy, divine baby boy," Vivek tweeted Wednesday.

"I thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for all the love, blessings, prayers and aashirwaad (blessings) you have sent us! Our son is truly blessed," he added.

Vivek, son of actor Suresh Oberoi, married Priyanka Alva, daughter of late Karnataka minister Jeevaraj Alva, in 2010.

The Bollywood fraternity too sent their best wishes to the couple through Twitter.

"Congratulations Vivek Oberoi and Priyanka, I am sure its the most special day ever, can't wait to see the little one. Big hugg," posted actress Genelia D'Souza.

Her husband, actor Riteish Deshmukh posted: "Vivek Oberoi congratulationssssssssssss brother- love to Priyanka and the entire family."

"Congratulations Vivek Oberoi on arrival of chota Vivek... god bless mother, little one, you and entire Oberoi family," posted filmmaker Kumar Taurani, while director Sangeeth Sivan wrote: "Vivek Oberoi congrats."
