Rio de Janeiro, Feb 12 (IANS): Bolivia international striker Marcelo Moreno admits he could be tempted to leave current club Gremio by the prospect of playing alongside Brazil's budding star Neymar at Santos.
Santos have begun talks with Gremio officials in a bid to secure the 25-year-old on a year's loan, reports Xinhua.
Moreno, who has been the subject of transfer talks in recent weeks, admits he is unsure what his future holds, but made no secret of his willingness to join the Sao Paulo club.
"I think any player would want to play with Santos. The chance to play with Neymar is something that makes you think," Moreno said.
"It's a great club with a lot of tradition. But right now I am focused on Gremio and I will wait to see what happens."
Gremio have an 80 percent stake in Moreno's economic rights with the balance held by the forward's former club Ukraine's Shakhtar Donetsk.
